Counselling & Psychotherapy
The term ‘Counselling’ is used universally as a way of describing talking therapies. It is a safe and supportive environment to share what is troubling you. During counselling, you are empathically listened to in a way that helps you understand yourself better. The aim of counselling is to support you in finding more effective and satisfying ways of living your life.
What’s the different between Counselling and Psychotherapy? Counselling tends to focus on more specific problems whereas Psychotherapy can address deeper underlying issues that may be unfamiliar as well as unprocessed. They both provide a space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. They also help you deal more effectively with your past and present challenges and help you make decisions for your future that enhance your wellbeing.
My therapeutic approach integrates both Counselling and Psychotherapy. For more information on my approach, please visit my FAQ page.
Finding the right therapist for your journey is very important. If you would be interested in coming to see me:
Send me an email or call me (020 7550 9333) and we can get an Initial Consultation set up.
During the Initial Consultation you can share what brings you to therapy, what you would like from therapy and ask me any questions you may have. We can discuss how we might work together and how I can best support you.
If you're happy to continue we will set up a second session, and we'll arrange to see each other weekly at a time suitable for us both.
